About
Alla Gruman, M.D.
Dr. Gruman received her undergraduate degree in mathematics and biology from New York University, graduating summa cum laude and ranked number one in her class. She went on to complete her medical degree with honors at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Gruman was subsequently accepted into Harvard’s Children’s Hospital’s Pediatrics Residency as well as Boston University’s Dermatology Residency. She has a rare distinction of being board certified in both Pediatrics and Dermatology. After years of practicing Dr. Gruman still enjoys the core values that attracted her to medicine in the first place – taking care of patients of all ages, getting to know them, and treating everyone with kindness and respect they deserve. While staying current with the advancements in medicine Dr. Gruman continues to train internal medicine residents at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
